Boarding Prices:
For our boarding guests, the charge is $33.00 per dog, per calendar day regardless of the time of day you drop off. This includes a full day of daycare though you may pick up anytime we are open. Example: A drop off on Monday with a pick up on the following Wednesday (morning or afternoon) for one dog is 3 days of boarding: 1 dog, 3 days of boarding at $33.00/day totals $99


"Extra care” boarding (dogs who sleep with staff, take multiple medications, or otherwise require more time and effort) is $40 per dog, per calendar day. See below for details.


A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per dog is required for each boarding booking and will be applied toward your total boarding invoice to be paid upon pick-up. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking is required for each booking over 7 days and bookings on major holidays and school vacation weeks (see dates below). Bookings cannot be confirmed without this non-refundable deposit. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to an overwhelming amount of last minute cancellations and no-shows we cannot book any boarding stay without this prepayment. Deposits are completely non-refundable and cannot be returned for any reason. Deposits for cancelled bookings cannot be used towards a new, future booking.


Days added to booking $40/day. You are always welcome to shorten your dog’s stay however you will be charged for the dates of your original booking. 


Please do not ask us to modify our hours. It is very important to maintain our daily schedules. Any customers insisting on picking up or dropping off outside of our regular hours will be charged an immediate fee of $50. 


***Customers who insist on bringing their dog in for boarding after we tell you we are full, will be charged double.***

Boarding Specifics:
All incoming overnight dogs should be dropped off prior to 10:00 unless specifically prearranged otherwise. We do this to ensure that your dog has had adequate time to expend some energy and get accustomed to being with us before ‘settle-down’ time after dinner. You may pick up your dog at any time during our open hours. 

Please bring your dog's own food to eat during their stay in an airtight bin or it's original bag (please do not bring us food loose in a trash or shopping bag, plastic OR paper). It is much better for your dog's digestive system to remain on their own food. Switching foods quickly can result in all sorts of issues, especially stomach upset and diarrhea. 

If a dog scheduled to go home is not picked up by closing time, they will be considered an unscheduled boarding guest, fed the house kibble (if they do not have their own) and tucked in for the night. They can be picked up the following day and owners will be charged accordingly.


Boarding Cancellation/Lengthening/Shortening Policy:
You may cancel your boarding booking at any time, however, boarding deposits cannot be returned for any reason. Deposits for cancelled bookings cannot be used towards a new, future booking. If you need to add days due to canceled flights home, unexpected change of plans, etc., please let us know at your earliest convenience. Days added to a booking are $40/day. You are always welcome to shorten your dog’s stay however you will be charged for the dates of your original booking.

Extra Care dogs are those that require greater time, attention and care than average Coastal Dog guests:

  • Dogs requiring excessive medication administration (more than one medication daily, medication administered more than 2 times day, anything requiring injections, topical applications, bandaging, etc…)
  • Dogs requiring physical help to function normally (have trouble walking, getting up or needing to use ramps, braces or other aids)
  • Dogs that have behavioral issues and require more attention paid to them on a regular basis (extremely nervous or anxious​ dogs, dogs that are socially inappropriate, dogs that are destructive)
  • Dogs that mark indoors, are not fully house-trained or consistently defecate/urinate indoors during their stay
  • Dogs that have to sleep with overnight staff
  • Puppies under 6 months


If your dog is new to us, it may take some time to determine whether or not your dog is a special needs dog. In this case, fees may be adjusted accordingly. If you are unsure whether your dog falls into this category, please ask us!

Our overnight services include all the benefits of daycare plus a comfy night with the overnight staff, sleeping wherever your dog is most comfortable. We try to accommodate as closely as possible what your dog is used to at home. For more information about overnights with us, please read our Customer Handbook.
