Is Your Dog Eligible For Coastal Dog Care?

Please peruse this brief "flow chart" to determine if your dog might be a good Coastal Dog match!

New Customer Daycare Eligibility

Do you live in our area year-round or are you a seasonal resident of our area? If not, we cannot take your dog. If yes, keep reading!

Is your dog a puppy between 3 and 5 months old and up to date on puppy vaccines? If yes, your dog is eligible! Call (207-882-6700) or email (info@thecoastaldog.net) us!

Is your dog over six months old, spayed/neutered (up to 8 months for extra-large breeds), up-to-date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis and had a Bordetella booster in the last 6 months? If the answer to any of these is no, we cannot take you dog. If yes, please read on!

Does your dog (over 6 months) have verifiable daycare experience? If the answer is no, we cannot take your dog. If the answer is yes, call (207-882-6700) or email (info@thecoastaldog.net) us and let’s get started!

New Customer Overnight Care Eligibility

Do you live in our area year-round or are you a seasonal resident of our area? If not, we cannot take your dog. If yes, keep reading!

Does your dog have separation anxiety, climb or dig under fences, bark excessively, or not get along with other dogs? If yes to any of these, we cannot take your dog. If no, please read on!

For puppies: Is your dog a puppy between 3 and 6 months old and up to date on general puppy and bordetella vaccines? Can they make it 8 hours at night without a bathroom break? If yes, your dog is eligible (we do charge and extra-care fee for the young ‘uns) and please keep reading!

For dogs over 6 months: Is your dog spayed/neutered, housetrained, up-to-date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis and had a Bordetella booster in the last 6 months? If the answer to any of these is no, we cannot take you dog. If yes, please read on!

Does your dog have verifiable daycare and/or homestyle boarding experience? If yes, great! Please keep reading! If not, would you be able to bring your dog for a couple of daycare visits before booking in for overnight care? If not, I’m sorry but we cannot take your dog.

For all first time overnighters: Can you provide us with a local emergency contact that can come and get your dog in case of an emergency? If not, I’m sorry but we cannot take your dog. If yes, terrific! Give us a call (207-882-6700) or email (info@thecoastaldog.net) and let’s get the ball rolling!
